The Name Game

A game of quick thinking and quick hello's.

Process: With this fun exercise the delegates need to keep their wits about them. They are invited to move around the room introducing themselves to other delegates. As person A (called John) meets person B (Jane) they swap identities, such that the next time Jane introduces herself to someone, she calls herself John. She then adopts the name of this second person (say, Paul) and so on. Paul (as she is now known) will continue this process until she RE-inherits her own name and becomes plain Jane all over again. At this point she re-takes her seat, possibly dazed, and almost certainly confused.

Outcome: A fast paced ice-breaker that allows delegates to make the briefest contact with many, many people in double-quick time.
